Privacy Policy

If you claim a seat: your mobile number, first name, date of birth and gender, the venumeets you claim, whether you turned up, cancelled or did not show, and a reliability score derived from that history.

If you operate a venue: your email address, your venue's name and category, and your billing records.

We do not collect payment card details from attendees. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your phone number identifies your booking and receives your confirmation and reminders. Your first name lets the venue find you at the door.

Your date of birth is used to show the venue an age, never the date itself. Gender is shown as part of the same anonymous summary.

Your reliability score exists so venues can judge no-show risk. It is global to you as a person, not to any one venue.

At check-in, the venue sees your first name and the last 3 digits of your mobile number, for that venumeet only.

Venues never see an individual guest's score. When 5 or more people have booked, a venue sees group totals: the number of bookings and how many are new or returning guests. After check-in closes it also sees how many attended and how many did not show, the average score, how many guests fall in each score range, how many have attended at other venues, and counts by age range and gender. With fewer than 5 bookings, it sees only the number of bookings.

If you book through the link in a promotion text, flakr records on your booking which promotion it came from. Venues only ever see totals for a promotion, such as how many people booked and checked in — never who booked through it.

Venue billing is worked out per visit, but venues only ever see totals. Invoices show one line per type for the period, never individual visits, dates or guests.

Venues never see your full mobile number, your exact date of birth, or your name next to your score.

We send booking confirmations and reminders by text. Promotional messages are limited and you can opt out at any time; opting out never affects your bookings.

We use the service providers below and share only what each one needs. We do not sell your information. Your information is stored and processed outside Australia.

Database, sign-in and file storage: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — stored in South Korea (Seoul).

Text messages: Twilio — processed in the USA. Texts are sent through Lovable's connector service.

Website hosting: Lovable, running on Cloudflare's global network — processed in whichever data centre is nearest the visitor.

Email: Lovable's email service — used for venue, support and security emails.

Payments and invoices for venues: Stripe — processed in the USA and other countries. Guests never pay through flakr.

Uptime monitoring: UptimeRobot — checks that the website is up; it receives no guest information.

Venue sign-in with Google: Google — only if a venue owner chooses 'Continue with Google'.

We keep attendance and reliability records while your profile is active, and billing records for as long as tax law requires.

You can ask us to delete your profile by emailing support@flakr.co. Deleting removes your identity; anonymous aggregate counts may remain.

Email support@flakr.co to request a copy, correction or deletion of your data.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If this policy changes materially, the version label changes and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you book or sign in.
